As your trusted House Call Chiropractor serving Naperville, Plainfield, Oswego, Bolingbrook, Aurora and Yorkville, I takes great pride in serving our patients with personal care.
I have been involved with Chiropractic, Natural health, Fitness, Functional Medicine and Nutrition for over 30 years. I am passionate about helping and teaching patients of all ages about health, wellness, injury prevention, sports performance, nutrition and fitness.
Whether you are suffering from the pain of pregnancy, or from a sports-related injury, I am here to help. But heres a little secret....... My real specialty lies in keeping you and your family healthy and preventing sports injuries and illness.
Why House call? Do you ever feel that there's just not enough hours in the day?
When my 4 kids were infants, my wife and I dreaded having to take them anywhere and If we had to make a stop along the way, getting them out of their car seats seemed like a major task.
So why House call?
Because I know what its like when you wish there were more hours in the day. I also like to spend more time with my patients then the typical 5-10 minute visit in most chiropractic offices.
A typical visit is around 20-35 minutes. This extra time allows me to provide a whole body approach. This in turn, helps you get better faster!!
This is is why I come to YOU. It's all about convenience and getting YOU back to doing the things YOU enjoy the most!.
Why Phone Consult before scheduling an evaluation and appointment?
House Call Chiropractic is not the right for everybody.
Unfortunately, based on my schedule there are certain areas I just can't travel to. Also, some problems are better suited in an office than in a home setting. I strongly believe it can be helpful for new patients to understand what to expect when I visit them for the first time.
For these reasons, I schedule a free 15 minute phone consult prior to each new patient examination.

What to Expect on Your First Visit to the Chiropractor
Prior to your visit, you will have downloaded and completed our new patient paperwork and emailed it back to Dr Hagmeyer for his review.
The new patient paperwork helps assess your current health condition, your goals, along with your previous medical history and any isolated injuries or chronic issues that you may be experiencing.
Dr Hagmeyer will review the new patient paperwork prior to your house or office call, so that the time spent with you can help you get better faster.
When Dr Hagmeyer arrives at your house, he will get everything set up such at Chiropractic tables and any other equipment needed.
Your Chiropractic examination will be focused on evaluating your spinal range of motion, muscle weakness, muscle imbalances, areas of abnormal spinal motion, Posture and isolating any areas of spinal inflammation.
Your Exam will be tailored to address any and all areas of the spine including any extremities.
In some cases, X-ray testing will be done to help understand the structure and integrity of your spinal anatomy.
If X-rays are required for ongoing treatment, Dr Hagmeyer will provide an X-ray requisition form that can be taken to a local imaging center.
X-rays can be a very important part of the examination process, X-rays can show us the health of your spine, when and where to adjust your spine and overall help guide a treatment plan aimed at providing long term correction and stabilization.
Every treatment plan is unique and specifically tailored to each patient's particular needs.
A treatment plan cannot be completed before the initial consultation or the physical exam are complete.
Dr Hagmeyer uses the information he has gathered to help determine the very best treatment option for you.
It's impossible for any doctor to accurately determine the number of visits it will take to feel better or what is wrong with you if an exam has not been performed.
Each patient is different some patients have had multiple car crashes, sports injuries, or repetitive injuries that may have caused some degree of permanent damage,
While some patients feel better after only a few adjustments others opt for a more thorough and comprehensive approach to spinal health and hygiene.
First Chiropractic Adjustment
Your first adjustment will take place on a chiropractic table that is padded and comfortable to lay or on a special table called the knee chest.
The adjustments can be performed face up, faced down, sitting upright, laying on your side or laying on your back.
The type of adjustment and the technique used will be determined based upon the area of the spine being adjusted, how you injured your spine or in what direction your spine has misaligned.
If chiropractic is new to you or your children, I will discuss everything I will be doing before putting you on the table. I can walk you through each adjustment and explain the importance of what I’m doing so you feel 100% at ease during the entire adjustment process.
After your adjustment, you may be asked to walk around your house or up the stairs or repeat certain ranges of motions that I originally noted as being abnormal.
The adjustment you receive during your first visit will most likely be included in the same manner during your follow-up treatment.
Dr Hagmeyer will discuss with you how often you need to receive treatment.
Following the treatment plan is crucial to your recovery.
For example, if it is recommended that you receive one adjustment three times per week for a month, and perform certain home exercises or stretches, it's important that you do not miss or cancel a session
Skipping appointment and not following the plan that was made specifically for your recovery will only hinder your ability to recover properly and in the time frame that was discussed.
